Jesse grinned as Nathan tugged the bow tie into place. He felt it and was quite impressed by Nathan’s skills, which never really failed to impress him. He kissed Nathan by the cheek before he was pulled closer to him. Jesse blinked and remembered what Nathan was referring to. “Yeah, why?” Jesse asked, his voice just as playful as Nathan’s as he wrapped his arms around Nathan’s waist.
”Because I want to give that to you tonight.” He spoke before slowly pulling away, a little scampish glimmer in his eyes. He finished tying the bow and snuggled up against Jesse’s head, burying his face into the taller boy’s shoulder. “I love it when you do that, Jesse.” He said as he felt the boy’s hands wrapped around his back, his speech a little muffled. He breathed in Jesse’s natural scent, which was almost fused into the fabric. It always had a relaxing effect on Nathan. “You smell wonderful, by the way.” He added, turning his head to the side and laughing a little before pecking Jesse’s cheek.

”Oh; no, no, no! You look …” He said, lifting up Jesse’s chin with his finger, looking into his light blue eyes which were now filled with embarrasment. “..incredible.” He finished, as a small, bashful smile returned to Jesse’s face. ”It was my mistake. I didn’t know we would be going somewhere so..fancy. I’ll just have to wear my tuxedo, too.” He added, smiling. “Now, where’s your bow tie? I would love to help you tie it.” Nathan said excitedly. He was quite experienced with tying bow ties; he wore them often.
“no no no!” Jesse said. “It’s not all that fancy. I just thought this was a really special occasion, so I wore it, that’s all.” Jesse bit his lower lip. He then gave his bow tie to Nathan with a smile. “Here.” He said, quite excited that Nathan would help him.
Nathan gladly took the bow tie from Jesse, excited to be showing off his skill and flattered that Jesse asked him to tie it. “It is a very special occasion. I was just being silly, you did nothing wrong, my sweet.” He said as he rubbed Jesse’s sleeve. “Now lift your neck up just a tad..” He told the taller boy as he wrapped the black bow around the back of Jesse’s neck. Jesse complied, stretching his neck up a little for Nathan to have som room. Once the ribbon was around Jesse’s neck, Nathan gave it a slight tug, flirtatiously pulling Jesse closer to him. “Remember that surprise I never gave you when we went on the ski trip?” He whispered into Jesse’s ear, a bit of a playful note in his voice.
